Inju Cafe

When the weekends are especially rainy and we need to get out of the house with the kids, we will try and find a cafe that we have not visited before to check out. Inju Cafe in Asan had been on my list for a while to visit, so during the last drizzling weekend, we ventured out.

Before we even walked inside, I was already swooning over the muted traditional architecture contrasted with the freshly blooming tulips out front. Inju was designed to look like an old traditional tea house. The cafe offers both regular style seating, as well as lots of floor seating if you are lucky enough to snag one of the coveted rooms. By the time we arrived that afternoon, seating was very limited so we opted for a spot that opened on a couch and got comfortable. We grabbed an assortment of pastries for ourselves and the kids, a cold brew for Derik and an iced vanilla latte for myself. Not pictured is the apple fritter pastry we selected that was my favorite pick of the bunch!

After we ate, the rain had subsided so we wandered outside to let Leif run around the courtyard. They have lots of outdoor seating which is something I plan to take full advantage of as the weather here is warming up! I plan on going back to Inju to try a few other recommended menu items and will try to come back and update this post when I do. I really enjoyed my first trip to Inju and would definitely recommend it.
